The Rack 09-20-12

On this week’s edition of The Rack, host Lindsey Ward, her producer Sir Rockin, and special guest Mase gave their opinions on the big stories of the week in Pro Wrestling, including the recent elbow surgery done on John Cena this past Tuesday that will keep him out about 6-8 weeks and Cena’s ensuing Twitter rant against WWE, Matt Morgan’s return to TNA at house shows this weekend, and Randy Orton being caught flipping someone “the bird” and having the image posted on Twitter.

As with every week, The Rack is your weekly home for immediate Impact Wrestling recaps and commentary. We talked about all things Open Fight Night, including Shaq and Hogan opening the show with Shaq saying he had Hogan’s back (and then wasn’t seen from again), the two #1 contenders for the Tag Team Championships facing off with special appearance by the World Tag Team Champions of the World (not redundant), Aces & 8’s abducting everyone’s favorite lawyer Joseph Parks, the continuing fight between James Storm and Bobby Roode, and Austin Aries calling out Bully Ray with the surprise ending of the main event not many saw coming and much more.

We also had two breaking news items: John Cena told NXT audiences that he’d be back October 11th to compete and EDGE HAS A TWITTER NOW (@EdgeRatedR), a spoiler-free preview of Smackdown, asked “Has TNA blown it with James Storm”, “Is Linda McMahon’s political aspirations killing wrestling’s past” and “How would wrestling change with Instant Reply” plus, Rack staples: Tweet of the Week and the Weekly Vent. Check it all out on this week’s edition of The Rack, brought to you partially by PWMania.com
