The Rack 08-30-12

On this week’s edition of The Rack, host Lindsey Ward, her producer Sir Rockin, Mase and even the “Fill-in Canadian” Omega in a once-in-a-lifetime Rack appearance, gave their opinions on all the big stories in the world of Pro Wrestling, including a Funkadactyl became a Drunk-adactyl and all the craziness that ensued, Devon leaving TNA after his contract runs out and possibly Bully Ray following soon after, Ric Flair getting divorced AGAIN (insert shocked face), Floyd “Money” Mayweather possibly appearing at Wrestlemania 29 in New Jersey, Michelle McRibs laid her egg this past week and now the Undertaker has a new daughter, plus more news and notes.

As with every week, The Rack is your exclusive, weekly home for immediate Impact Wrestling recap and commentary. We talked about Austin Aries selling his hand injury and trying to seek revenge on the Aces & 8’s, ODB wanting the chicken, beer and lovin’ from EY that she is owed for the past two months, the Bound for Glory Series coming close to its not-as-confusing finale, the Knockouts “match” that lead to the show-stealing moment of the night, the World Tag Team Champions of the World and their entertaining exchange with Hogan and Sting, the Gut Check results with a unanimous NO and the hosts agreeing that Gut Check needs a revamping Now, an appearance by everyone favorite Chicago lawyer, the show-ending brawl between TNA and the Aces & 8’s and so much more TNA goodness. We also had a gripe from Rock about No Surrender and the lack of build-up/matches announced for the PPV next Sunday!

We also had a preview of the upcoming Smackdown show, an examination of the Kane/AJ/Daniel Bryan Anger Management storyline, a look ahead to the NFL Season starting Wednesday with everyone giving their postseason picks, a listener-submitted fantasy booking of Team Hunter vs Team Brock at Survivor Series with the hosts giving their opinions, as well as our question of the night: “Who is the best heel in wrestling today” with quite a variety in responses. Plus, the Rack staples: Tweet of the Week, listener submitted questions, and the Weekly Vent. Check it all out on this week’s edition of The Rack, brought to you by and simulcast on Pwmania.com
