On this week’s edition of The Rack, host Lindsey Ward, her producer Sir Rockin and special guest Mase gave their opinions on all the big stories of the week in Pro Wrestling and all the breaking news, because it wouldn’t be Thursday without some breaking news. They discussed a pair of releases including a Diva (Kharma) and Knockout (Velvet Sky), The Great Khali and his recent serious surgery, Steve Austin’s reason for not being at RAW 1000, and Kevin Nash teasing a possible NWO reunion and the logistics of trying to pull that off. The Rack is also your home for immediate recap and analysis of TNA’s Impact Wrestling, including the Aces and 8’s return to the Impact Zone and their possible association with James Storm, this week’s Gut Check segment with Sam Shaw and the live voting by the judges, an X-Division title match which also continued the Roode/Aries interaction, the introduction of TNA’s newest star in Chavo Guerrero Jr. and so much more. They also discussed whether the WWE jumped the gun in announcing the Rock’s WWE Title shot for the Royal Rumble at RAW 1000, plus Rack staples: Tweet of the Week, Ask the Hosts, and the Weekly Vent. Check it all out on this week’s edition of The Rack, brought to you by Eyeblack.com and in association with Pwmania.com
They were also joined by a very special guest, TNA Superstar, former TNA X Division Champion and one half of the current TNA Knockout Tag Team Champions, “Showtime” Eric Young. In a nearly 20 minute interview, he discussed new show on Animal Planet, “Off the Hook: Extreme Catches” and all the fun that comes with doing a show involving himself and fishing, like how he got into fishing, wrestling a paddleboard fisher with blood in the water, what kind of pantyhose one should use to catch Sharkboy and how it is actually a good way to catch sharks, who he’s more afraid of: ODM or a shark, paddleboard fishing for sharks, talking with turtles and a host of other topics.
